    superstitions

Ok so we know about WLWLWL for the last 11 games between the two sides meaning WC are due to win

Last year. Brownlow Cousins, Cup Swans. This year....

Here's the one I like, which is slightly more promising, (and I think more pertinent)

Wsties have not beaten us outside WA since rd 9 1999

    interesting!

have heard lots about players having their own superstitions - eg. have to sit on the same seat in the bus...what about fan's superstitions?

My mates and I always have to have pancakes for Goodesy for breakfast before a big game! having a B.L.T. for lunch the day before for B.L.T. is also quickly cementing itself in our pre-match rituals!

I've got my lucky scarf. I've had it for over 10 years and it's not in the best of shape. Hasn't been washed since early last year (ewwww!) but I don't want to wash the luck out of it. It's looking a wee bit worn these days. First few games this year I wore my premiers scarf. Needless to say I'm back to my lucky scarf now.

I have a beanie that I got at the start of the 96 season - but i left at my mum's in Dubbo! My sister was meant to bring it back yesterday but she left it in mum's car - I am stressing that I don't have it for tomorrow! ridiculous I know...

Hope your lucky scarf has enough luck for the both of us!

Everytime I wore red and white to a game this year, we lost. Everytime I was wearing neutral colours, we won. I made sure I wore neutral colours to the St Kilda game but made the mistake of lending my red jacket to a friend who came along...

I'll be wearing neutral colours tomorrow.

Every time I wore my "2005 Premiers" T-shirt we lost. I haven't worn it for weeks.

At Currumbin Sanctuary I watched a couple of swans gliding around the lake. Then saw a couple of flightless eagles, rampaging around their enclosure (they'd been shot). Thought that had to be a good sign.

Last year I wore exectly the same clothing to the GF as I had worn at the other games during the season. I wouldn't even get my face painted because I wanted to treat it "just as another game", having won last year, I don't feel the need to be so superstitious about what I wear any more.
