Had a walk around the city at lunchtime(don't really like doing it) and had to laugh at the number of Coaster supporters wandering around with the mouths wide open in awe of the big buildings.
What big fish they must feel like in that hick of a state they come from.
Pleasantly suprised at the number of Swans supporters. From my office overlooking the start of the parade it looked like one of the larger parade crowds.
I was not confident at the start of the week but I keep telling myself that Judd, Kerr, Cousins and Cox have been in such fantastic form yet as a team they have looked pretty average of late. If one of those 4 drops off to any significant degree I think we are home.

Central Park tower in Perth is 249m tall. They are more likely wandering around with their mouths open to see buildings that weren't demolished in the 1980's.

Perth CBD ain't much at all, a couple of "tall" buildings and it takes less than 5 minutes to walk from one side to the other. Fremantle is a lot better, there's a lot more to do and the people aren't as hostile...

i was in shock at the size of the CBD when i first went to melbourne

its like a full 10 of our CBD's (actually just the one street)

was almost overwhelming the first time i went into the city
