If only the ump awarded the free kick to Doylie for being tackled without the ball after spoiling Cousins instead of it going to Cousins & the ensuing 50.
See me run a marathon again as a leprechaun?

I think it is clear that you never play a McVeigh in their first grand final if you are going for back to back.

Mark - 2001 Essendon...Brisbane start their hatrick of Premierships.

Jarrod - 2006 Sydney - West Coast finally nab one....

So...my 'if only' is "if only Jarrod was left out of the team"..

I think it is better to blame karma or islamic fundamentalists or the American Right Wing, just something I can hate until the footy starts again next year.

I'm pretty sure ours spells his name Jarrad.

A bit harsh on him, though. I felt sad for him and Malceski after they were both so desperate to play in a GF after missing out last year. What a horrible way for their first GF to end. Eski just continued on the way he's been going all year, but McVeigh was OK too, I thought.

I hate 'if only' threads. They only end up making us all feel worse that we lost. Yes, it sucks, but it happens. West Coast deserved a premiership too. Their forward line might not be great, but they finally proved that they are a champion team like us, too.

Though, feel free to blame anything/anyone that takes your fancy, if it makes you feel better.

I'd take my post as fairly tongue in cheek there! If I truly thought that was the reason we lost the Grand Final, I'd have myself locked up!!!

True, everyone knows it was an American right-wing conspiracy. The eagle isn't their national bird for nothing.

if only we won the toss & ran the same way as last year.

If only the chick that did the honours actually knew how to toss a coin instead of just throwing it up.

Yes all indications are leaning that way.

However, Osama is a sneaky bugga
