    Congratulations....sort of

First of all i wanted to congratulate the boys on a good season overall.

But more to what this thread is about is congratulating the boys that really are fringe players, or maybe not the first picked, that really played out of their skin today.

    Richards
    Doyle
    Malceski
    McVeigh

Are the main ones, some good signs in the biggest game of all, of what is to come i think, we should be able to provide a reasonable crack at winning the comp for another couple of years.

      and Davis and Kirk.
My Pokemon brings all the boys to the yard and they're like "Wanna trade cards?"
"Damn right, I wanna trade cards. I can beat you, I've got Charizard!"

The window is still wide open.
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)

At least we lost no respect today.

yep. no-one is going to be over the hill next year. i expect improvement from lrt (not just on the basis of this game), malceski, davis and mcveigh. and grundy. maybe spriggs/phillips/moore/schmidt and who knows what happens to a young ruckman with another preseason (shaw/ericksen)

            go swans.

            (salary cap issues may arise)
then again, i think it would be worth trying 15-16 players on field so what would i know
