    West Coast Deserved It

Sydney and West Coast are equaly the two best teams in the comp, you cant seperate the two, there last 5 games have been decided by a total margin of 12 points, with no team winning two in a row for the last 12 meatings.

The 2005 grand final couldve gone either way, so couldve 2006. I think if any supporter from any club was offered 1 win from two grand finals, they would take it.

No one can seperate Sydney and West Coast, its 50-50, a little luck went Sydneys way in 2005, this year it went to west coast.

Lets hope for a decider next year, but I dont think it will happen.

If we had got up and won it today I would have been over the moon and there would have been no doubt that we deserved it.

But deep down we would have stolen it.

Definitely - we didn't deserve to win today.

I am amazed in that west coast played so well, and pressured us into poor handling an disposals - but we still managed to stay in the game.

Other teams would have lay down at half time but we just kept going and going.

          Well done guys.

It just goes to show that we aren't a bunch of easybeats and to make the grand final 2 years in a row with so many people doubting us, we're better than a lot of other AFL clubs.
I only support one team: The SYDNEY SWANS!!!!! :adore

I am so proud of OUR boys and their never say die attitude, 30 seconds more - and well, who knows! As much as it hurts to say they were a better team on the day - well i said it! Well done Bloods, you made me proud. It hurts to lose, but we didn't play like we deserved it!

Yeah losing by 1 point doesnt get any worse! BUT cant expect to win after playing so poorly in the first half and missing easy shots at goal, eagles deserved it in the end and at least got a flag last year, something alot of teams would kill for ie. st.kilda, melbourne etc

I couldn't believe how crap we were in the first half. My wife's a lifelong Tigers fan and she paid the ultimate insult by saying we were playing like the Tiges - couldn't disagree.

I still argue that we deserved to win, only because we stayed in touch despite playing atrociously for the first two quarters. Then we fought right back so close a couple of times. You'd have to acknowledge the last couple fo Weagles goals were pretty lucky and generally against the play.

Well done to WCE for a good win, but this time they got a bit more luck than we did, that's all there is to it.

I was thinking at the time that I didn't think the Eagles were playing all that well. I certainly don't think anything they were doing was effecting us, we just played crap, back to the stuff we were dishing up at the start and mid-year. I thought it was a miracle we were still in the game, if the Eagles were on top of their game we wouldn't have been.

Both teams lifted in the second half, us a little more than they did

Don't really agree with that. ROK's kick into the teeth of two Eagles was pretty poor, it was always going to be smothered, needed to do better than that.

Oh jeeeez, the wifes just put on a Missy Higgins CD, I'm getting more depressed than I was before.

Absolutely...how could we play so badly fro so long, get SLAUGHTERED in the midfield by 4 Lamborghinis and still only lose by a point?

That was amazingly @@@@ing stupid. Just occasionally he needs to think, and perhaps handpass, rather than blindly throw the ball on his boot.
