What happend to Barry - best game to worst game

Last week against Freo he played his best game ever, today he probably played his worst. What went wrong?

Ptobably wouldve been better if he got reported last week.

He was somehow affected by the birth of baby Jolly.

It's still inexcusibly bad, it's beyond inexcusible for a top player to have an off-day on the most important day of the year.

And the heartbreak is still setting in!

Whilst Bazza had a bad day in many respects, he did do some good things, and he was the one with the quick hands who set up that Goodes goal in the first 13 seconds of the last quarter.

It's easy to criticise, but we wouldn't be in the Granny without him and a little bit of objectivity about his contribution this year would be appreciated.

I think people are being reasonably objective - he's been pretty inspirational through much of the season and certainly in the finals. But he played like he was Richo yesterday when we most needed him to show leadership.

He is one of the best forwards in the comp and a great asset to the Swans. But yesterday he had a stinker, so why not get it out in the open?

Baryy Hall contributed to 5 Swans goals through various assists (handballs, knock ons and shephards), but did miss 2 crucial goals that you would expect him to get (anyone for that matter). At the end of the day, that's what he's there for, and those misses cost us. But you have to acknowledge that he did set up 5 goals.

Set up 5 goals? I thought he was poor yesterday. I'm not saying trade him. I'm not saying that he is not one of the best players in the team. But I will say that he had a @@@@ty day yesterday and that if he had have played well, the result may have been different.

I thought the lack of midfield delivery from the midfield was crucial in low numbers of quick delivery to a leading HAll. Together with poor kicking as well from Bolton and Fosdike meant he was always going to have a tough day.

Indulge me please and list them. I wont be surprised if he had a hand in 5 but I will be if you can convince me he set all 5 up.

Goodes goal, O'Loughlin goal, LRT goal, Schneider goal and one escapes me but I shall watch the replay.

                              O'Loughlin yes.

The Goodes goal is hardly something Hall can take massive credit for.

Didn't have anything to do with Schneider's goal.

Don't recall him having much to do with LRT's goal.

He may have be involved with some of them, but it's not really the same as setting them up.
