    I'm missing FoxFooty already

Would have liked to have watched the game again so I could comment objectively. Unfortunately the replay was on at midnight and I was unable to stay awake for it and now FFC is gone.
Doubt I'll bring myself to buy a copy of the dvd so I will have to suffice with my memories from watching at the ground.
    Bring it on!

I taped the game on Ch10 so have that, but don't know if I will watch it.

They had it on the big screen at Crown last night, the roar as the Eagles swarming everywhere counted down to the siren was pretty damn loud - I can understand it though from where we were last year.

    I'm on the Chandwagon!!!

If you cannot compete for the premiership, it's better to be young and exciting than middle-aged and dowdy.

I won't be watching any replay. Can't bear to even think about the game at the moment.

Hopefully Ange, the memory I will take from the game is the incredible fighting spirit we showed after an abysmal first half.
..And the Swans are the Premiers...The Ultimate Team...The Ultimate Warriors. They have overcome the highly fancied Hawks in brilliant style. Sydney the 2012 Premiers - Gerard Whately ABC

Why not? It was a great game. I thoroughly enjoyed it. (except the end result of course)

I wouldn't mind seeing the 2nd half again so I can witness that fighting spirit again. I was really hoping that Nick Davis would kick a freak goal in the dying seconds to win the day. Alas it wasn't to be.

I didn't enjoy the first half too much but was much happier with the 2nd half.

Life without FoxFooty will be terrible. I can't even watch a replay of the match if I wanted to (which I don't at the moment).

I reckon the AFL need to look into getting their own AFL station on pay tv. I believe that the American Baseball League do so in the United States, so why not AFL here?? It would be fantastic for people who are starved for footy news in the northern states.

Come on AFL! How about it! You've certainly got the funds to do so!

The GF was on Fox Sports 3 today I think (I certainly saw it listed). I do keep instinctively typing the number in when there's nothing else on.

There was nothing on when I flicked earlier - hubby was out so I had custody of the remote
I'm just used to switching on and tuning in to 506 and getting an Aussie Rules fix. I don't want to have to check the guide to see when there is something Aussie Rules related, selfish and unbloods-like I know but I want my Fox Footy

My thumb automatically presses 506 when I turn on the Tele. So now instead of getting the AFL I will probably get Russian Soccer and Lawn Bowls.

Ch 7 @@@@ me! First of all they refused to open their archive of games to FoxFooty then they fail to arrange a deal with FF so it folds. Typical @@@@ commercial network - couldn't give a flying toss about the audience!

Don't see how not accepting any offer Foxtel throws at them makes 7 (or 10) responsible for the demise of Fox Footy.

There was no need for Foxtel to close it down until negotiations had stopped, the truth is that they decided on this months ago and have wanted AFL on a multi-sports channel for ages.

They have 5 live NRL matches a week and have never ever even thought about a channel just for that sport, and News Ltd own 50% of the competition.

Foxtel were willing to throw in nearly 50 Mill to the Nine bid for 4 games (what a shock) yet only offered 17 million to 7/10 for 3 games.

Once 7/10 confirm they are showing all 8 matches on FTA next year, I am ringing Foxtel and telling them where to go stick it

Replay tonight (Monday) on FoxSports 3 from 9.30 until 12:30 so will probably have some pre-match and post match stuff included to make up 3 hours.

I'll be recording it and burning to DVD. I have no intention of buying the Eagles 4 or 5 pack DVD !!!

Thanks for that info BBB, I'll watch it tonight until the final siren and then switch off. I can't stand watching Cousins acting like a tool on the podium and don't want to see Mike get his medal (sorry WCE fans but I'm not big fans of either of them, although I admit they can play - big of me I know )
