Do you reckon they'll be showing all 8 games to the non-Victorian states? IMHO I reckon that once again us non-Victorian states will be shafted, hence the need for FFC. I also like the footy related show like WLF and Fox League Teams.
I know someone who is a very close friend of Kerry Stokes so I might have a word with him to see what he can do to make sure us non-Victorian footy lovers are looked after. KS's friend is a WCE man so I'll have to be nice to him about their win.
    Bring it on!

I am thinking we (NSW) will miss two and get six.

We will get Friday night, both Saturday afternoon games and two Sunday afternoon games.

Likely to get the Channel 10 Saturday night game, but miss the Channel 7 Saturday night game (7 and 10 might alternate who takes the hit each week on Sat night), and the Twilight game on Sunday is almost certain to be a late night replay for us.

I hope you are right. I doubt we will get as much as that. I hope I'm wrong.

We will get 5 without doubt.

The Friday night is contracted, simple as that, and Saturday and Sunday afternoon is a no brainer for national coverage. It adds to their Australian TV content quota and there is no real ratings ramifications (except for the lead into news which wont effect Sydney, as we are likely to get a 1pm game on one network and a 2pm game on the other)

The two Saturday night games and the Sunday twilight game is the question mark. Andy D seemed to be talking as if Sydney and Brisbane had to get at least 1 Saturday night game live, so if that is the case, we would get 6 games a week, which is two more than we currently get under the 9/10/Foxtel arrangement.

The loss of Fox Footy is a disaster for the AFL and viewers in NSW and Queensland. I've already cancelled my Foxtel sports package and am going to just the basic package until my contract with Foxtel has expired and I'll cancel Foxtel altogether. I'm so @@@@@@ off about what has happened but still not sure who I should be @@@@@@ off with the most. At the moments its Foxtel CEO Kim Williams.

Well we aren't the only ones missing FoxFooty. Read this article by Mike Sheahan to get his thoughts.

For what is worth I'm sure we'll get all Swans games, probably live or delayed, so no drama there. For others, let's wait and see. It's too early to speculate.

I'm sure we'll get all Swans games too. But I like to follow what's going on across the AFL and for me, WLF was a great way to do this. Watch the replay at 10:30 before bed (often out at 7:30 during the week) and just catch up with all the news. There are other ways, but not as easy or as convenient timing wise.

I think it's terrible. I loved being able to get a footy fix of whatever sort at whatever time.

On the Couch was one of my 'must watch' shows for the week.

I shed a tear at the end of 'On the Couch' last night.

It's a disgrace that Fox Footy is closing down and I too am going to cancel my Foxtel as soon as my contract ends.

Fox Sports 3 would be pretty likely to run with a few AFL shows.

I wouldn't be surprised if WLF/On The Couch/League Teams (or similiar) were all retained to have an AFL presence on the channel.

Just as Channel 9 is running with a new Monday night football show next year.

I reckon an equivalent to League Teams and On the Couch will exist on Fox - a bit like their NRL, EPL, NBL review/preview shows operate at the moment. A bit harder to see a nightly show like WLF running just because of the fact it would be nightly - can't see them giving up a slot every weekday evening for 6 months of the year.

Yes, but Channel 9 is only running the football show in Melbourne. I got Foxtel only for Fox Footy because we get nothing in Sydney. You would think that with so many people threatening to get rid of Foxtel that they would announce now what will happen next year. IMO they are waiting for the AFL to fund a channel and we can get whistle until then.

Got home from work today, instinctively typed 506 into the remote and nothing there. Then the reality hit me - no footy on TV.
                                This sucks.
