    Ted Richards

He deserves his own thread. His performance in the second half of the Grand Final was bloody outstanding. I'm excited about his future if he can maintain that.

You gotta admire him for stepping up in the second half when the Swans needed to lift to have any chance of winning. He's been a great addition to the 2006 side, unlike another player which I'm not going to mention...
I only support one team: The SYDNEY SWANS!!!!! :adore

I watched the Grand Final with two Bombers supporters, and throughout the second half they kept wondering why the Bombers let him go.

I had been thinking of a Ted thread. I was going to go out on a limb and nominate him as AA next year - you read it here first.

For the first half of the season he was looking like a complete waste of a draft pick but its been great to watch him develop into one of our most consistent players since about the half way mark of the year. He has developed a pair of the safest marking hands on the team and his disposal is usually good. Welcome to the Swans Ted!

His season was like an upside down bell curve. Super Ted, quickly became Dudted, and the reclaimed Superted in the last few months

if we had won, it would have been all thanks to him, he lifted the side and got us back on track, 3 months ago who would have put money on that happening....

Saw him at the airport and was compelled to go up to him and thank him for the pleasure I received from watching his improvement over the year. He did himself and family proud with his great attitude and determination. Great effort yesterday.

his passion and attack at the ball when it really counted was outstanding, and if we had got up - which or course we nearly did! - would have been in no small part thanks to him. so congrats Ted and welcome to the Swans. Hope you have a great career with us and i hope you can be a premiership player in future!

It was so exciting to watch his intensity - you could see it in his face and in his attack on the ball. Was quite inspirational.

IMHO, if we had won the game he would have got the NS medal, if not him then Kirk

Kirk would have won it. He finished only 2 votes behind Embley in the NS voting.

Teddy really came of age in the Granny. I had been sceptical but his effort yesterday was inspirational. I'm so proud of him and he's become one of my favourite players.

That tackle on Embley (?) in the centre as the Eagles were on the counter-attack was probably my favourite play of the day. He was so intense, so determined and it was a brilliant tackle.

I can't wait to see him play next season.
