Why do we not chase Gardiner instead of Spida?

He is only 27, and the change oif scenery would do him good, as it did for Barry Hall and Tony Lockett.

I think spida would be a waste of time, especially if we are to get a 2 year player, and give up a 10 year player in the process.

Did u read my first post? Anonymity in the harbour city would only help this bloke. i agree he has made 4-5 mistakes too many, but at least he has 5 years service minimum left.

And what about Spida and his beer can throwing episode at Phillip Islkand 4-5 years ago? Is he a bloke u don't want either?

The things in favour of Everitt over Gardiner is;

2. Everitt is a better ruckman
3. Everitt is a better bloke

Now you can use that as a poetic tune, plus, I disagree that Gardiner has 5 years service "minimum" in him. He is more than likely to crash like a sack of spuds in a blink of an eye. If West Coast see fit to discard him and put him out with the trash that he is, then I don't see why our club (who seeks further success) would want such junk.

Disagree. We need Doyle to fire. He's a big unit and that's what we need against the likes of Sandilands and Cox. He just needs some time in the seniors.

And again, i think if Gardiner and cousins separate, then it will be all the better for Gardiner.

Hmmm, I'm actually not saying Everitt is a nice bloke, I'm just saying that he's better than Gardiner! As for Gardiner seperating from Cousins, that would actually work out in Cousins' favour rather than Gardiner's. Gardiner is the one with mob connections, and a miriad of other issues.....

Hey pantsman I'm right behind ya on this one, I've been behind this whole ' Gardiner To Sydney' campaign ever since he @@@@@@ up with the eagles.

We gave Hall & Lockett a go so why not Gardiner?

He has the talent to rise to the top again & maybe hit AA form, his worth a better punt then a 32 year old ruckman who's time as a AFL footballer is almost over.
