Will we have any coaches left????

Ross Lyon in late charge for the Saints job

First Horse, then Rossy and now Jonas doesn't know what he's doing!

Out with the old and in with the new!

As long as we don't lose Jonas then i wouldn't mind if Lyon left.

I don't like the midfield positioning we have at the moment, a lot of it looks as if it is the way they are coached. Willo probably missed about 5 burst disposals a game towards the end of his career, he was quite often standing on the defensive side of a stoppage but our midfielders go for a double ring around the rosy/stoppage (usually because everyone is a defensive midfielder trying to get between his player and the ball) and they either couldn't get the ball to Paul because of the second line of players around the stoppage or they couldn't see him and just banged it forward. Davis is being used in this fashion now (leading me to think that, assuming nothing crazy happens next week, he will be filling that Willo style attacking midfielder role next season).
I wouldn't mind a new midfield coach coming in.
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

        Same.

            Voss would be excellent!

But look like he will remain on the list at the Lions.

            Voss retirement imminent

Cresswell was our best in and under and would be excellent, we've picked up Blakey from the Lions as an assistant (but I assume that is defensive coach...as that is all he was good at doing)

Cressa or Maxfield are capable of doing the job.

I would offer Voss the Opera House to join the Sydney coaching staff next year

I think Cressa would be good. My only thoughts are how much he's moved around in such a short time.

As for Stewie - can't see him wanting to relocate permanently back to Sydney. I'm assuming that would be required.

Also, if we lose Longmire - who steps in to coach the seconds?

The Jonas reference is a cryptic one - does anyone know the story there?

Looks clear to me that the Saints are trying to build a Sydney "mini-me" - one of Lyons or Horse looks like they'll go which I confess I wouldn't have picked when Thomas went down.
