    Trade for McDonald

    The ex(?)-Lions ruck.

    27.
Was probably best on ground for the Lions when they played us this year.
I think we we're looking at him last year, and personally, think we should've traded Fixter to them for him.
I'd give up our third round pick for him no worries.

Could be better value than Spida, who I'm just not convinced as to how many years we'll get out of.

Wouldn't cost us as much, either.

Would he be the second string or third string - behind Doyle?
The eternal connundrum "what happens when an unstoppable force meets an immovable object" was finally solved when David Hasselhoff punched himself in the face.

I would consider McDonald behind Doyle. But as we know Roos likes the 'Three ruckman' in one team policy, seen round one 05 when Doyle, Jolly and Ball all lined up, and presumably would have stayed in except that Doyle injured himself for the year.

Has played something like two games in four years. No thanks.

Gee whiz, the amount of junk that 's been bandied around is incredible. What everyone has to realise is that ALL these names are more or less REJECTS. There's no point thinking that they are going to be our saviour in any way, shape or form. There MAY be some useful players among the rejects, but it is basically like trying to sort out the sultanas from the rabbit @@@@.
