I don't remember the Canon dropping a mark, probably because there were so many mistakes that i can't pinpoint one in particular..

It was about 30-40m out from goal at the city end (after somehow he had pushed his opponent to the ground and no free kick was awarded).

I thought it was closer to goal than that. I don't know why people moan about it, it's not like he would have kicked it anyway.
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

            Gold!!!!

It was uncontested at the top of the goal square. The only thing that would have been funnier is if he missed the mark completely and it hit him in the face.

I have never seen a "CHB" drop a mark like that.

Yeah, well that's true. If he did mark it then it wouldn't have suprised me if he had a few players going up to him pointing through the goal posts.

Yes, very true. I don't know what was more horrific, the missed mark or the missed free kick....

The missed mark. Who cares if the Eagles didn't get the free?

I know that, but what I'm saying is that BOTH were absolutely embarrassing mistakes.

I've seen our CHF (Hall) drop several like that. Even when "in form" he does at least one per game.

But Hall is generally poor overhead, so no excuse for LRT.

You've seen Hall drop an uncontested mark 30 from goal...?!?

                        When?

I saw the Canon drop a handball receive in the oppositions goal square as well on Grand Final day then fumble it into the path of one C Judd to kick a goal...

You can't blame a loss on one incident. We played like crap, blame it on that...

We'll be back in 2007, stronger, both mentally and physically and we'll give it another good shake

Not about assigning blame....question is how many games does LRT have to play before you can say he is/is not good enough, cause at the moment it seems it's is not....

First of all, LRT's dropped mark was NOT uncontested. Although it may well have been a free kick against him for the push in the contest.

& if you haven't seen Baz drop marks in similar circumstances then you've not been watching hard enough.

(BTW, I'm not trying to compare Baz to LRT. Now that's what I call a non-contest.)

LRT's last two finals were (probably) his two worst games of the year. He's clearly made significant improvement from early 2005 - the question is how he bounces back from this year's final series. You get the feeling the caoching staff will watch his development with renewed interest.
