    If.....

    We cant(wont) trade for spida in the draft and he nominates for PSD......

    What will be the take from either Lyon or Longmire if they are coaching the Saints at that point. Would they go for Spida to get in our way, or let him go through??

      Hmm.
      Very simple, they will pick him if they think they need him.

      And considering that any decent coach would look at St Kilda's list tell you that they are 1 maybe 2 ruckman short it is a distinct possibility.

      However St Kilda will be limited by cap pressure so a jacked up price put on his head by Spida may just get him through to us.

          I would think its unlikely that St Kilda would draft someone who is apparantly unpopular with their players has declared he wants to play somewhere else anyway

              They can have Spider, only if it breaks their salary cap and have to give us Hayes.

                  The question ought to be is he the one to not pick up or is. Can the club afford not to if it wants to improve in areas where needed? On ability he is capable of performing when required but closets are his downfall
