I noticed Buchanan got dropped too. I think Davis was chosen because IIRC Sheedy said last year during the series that he was the best kick of the round ball during training etc. His accuracy in the grand final would have jogged his memory.

      And not one Weagle?!
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)

Oh yeah, thats right. Thanks... my friend would've teased me if Amon didn't make it, as i was boasting the whole time convinced he'll make it into the squad.

            Did Nick play last year?
I'll look forward to the IR series now. Another chance to see these guys on the paddock before summer. I think the IR game is quite entertaining and find it amusing how the Aussies have to adapt to using a round ball! Would love to see the Irish try and adapt to our football!

                  Yeah I know.
I mean in this situation. Once a year, for what is it 2 or 3 games!

                      Congratulations to Nick!
Good to see that Hall, O'Keefe and Schneids are in as well.
4 Sydney players to 1 Weagles player. Excellent.

                          Yup.

Australia and Ireland will battle for the Cormac McAnallen Cup. The first test will be played at Galway for the first time at night on 28 October, while the second test will be at the famous Croke Park on Sunday 5 November.

Didn't notice any KFC - but there is definitely Maccas.

Oh - and lots of Guiness too.

I really enjoy the IR series - went to the 2002 series at Croke Park (effing freezing) and last year's game at the Dome (much warmer).
