If Adelaide are keen on Fosdike...why wouldn't we...

To me Fosdike is a "reasonable" player who can be traded for better as well as covered by our current stocks.

Outside ballgetters surely don't fit our sytle of play at the Swans.

Malceski and McVeigh are both better finishers and can play tight if need be. Anyone ever see "skinny" Fosdike lay a tackle that sticks or shut a player out of the game (Everyone else can!!!)

    Have to disagree.

I rate "Fozzy" and rate him highly. I think he was one of our big improvers in 06 and has plenty more potential. Whilst I agree in some circumstances he can be the "King of clangers" at times, he will get better. He is now in his prime and should be retained.

Although I reckon that the reigning holder of that title at the moment is Monty.

        Very tradeable.

If either McLeod or Edwards were to be traded, do you think Sydney would be interested?
I only support one team: The SYDNEY SWANS!!!!! :adore

Keep Fossie, very good player coming from the bench. If we traded him we wouldn't get near his value.

Never say never in trade week, however, it looks like Fozzie will stay in Sydney.

Nic Fosdike also is out of Adelaide's reach with the former Norwood player still under contract to Sydney. "We've made enquiries," Fantasia said. "But Sydney is reluctant to let him go."

I would be keen to trade fossie for Jericho + 3rd round pick.

Fossie is a good athelete, but he simply is not damaging enough. Not that I am one that howls for his blood, but there must have been 3-4 occassions in the gf alone where he had 25m on the nearest player, 3 forwards to kick to, and sprayed the kicks everywhere.

I think he has poor balance while kicking on the run.

Seems to have pretty decent skills from marks or set kicks.

I'm not that keen to trade Fosdike. He is a really good player but if he wants to go to Adelaide and if we can trade him for someone decent, then I don't really mind.

                      Concur.

And that's for every player. If they want to go, let them go. Their mind is already somewhere else and their heart is not where it needs to be to play with us.

Why do I constantly have to remind people of LRT's "shepherding" thru Ablett's (G not L) goal? That has LRT holding down divine status in the Hall of Clangers' Fame.
