Back to the tally room in Canberra ... thanks super Stat's Boy!!
Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.
Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones who let in the light.

@@@@ knows. To be fair to his stats though, you would need to know his time on the ground. It's interesting to note that:
                - in a single season with the Swans he registered more kickless games than in four seasons with Geelong.
                - in his year with the Swans as #2 ruck he only had one game with fewer hitouts than Jolly did in the Grand Final.

In 4 games for Geelong playing against Sydney Paul averaged 4.75 disposals, 3.25 tackles and 17.25 hit outs, plus he even kicked a goal against us in 2003. The coaching staff may have thought they saw a bit in him.
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

Last year Jolly averaged 7.7 disposals, 18.4 hit outs and 1.8 tackles per game.

You're only as good as your last game.

I was observing that Chambers' stats against us weren't too different to Jolly's of 2005.

The same result can be obtained by comparing their last games. 7H.O., 5 disposals each. Chambers laid three tackles in addition though.
