    Longmire stays.

Assistant coach John Longmire has agreed to remain with the Sydney Swans in a newly created position on the coaching panel.

    Me thinks this is good.
Feel for him not getting the top job at the Saints but selfishly happy to be keeping him at the Swans.

I hope the new role doesn't stop us from being able to recruit another decent assistant who is looking to get a head job soon.
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

So what will Roos be doing during the pre season if Horse is doing all the work?

With fringe benefits like that I don't think it'll be hard to pick up staff at all. Might apply myself.
