    Yeah true that.

However, if we won the 2006 preimership, I'd say we were very very lucky...

They were luckier because we missed set shots a bees diaphram out and dead in front in the first quarter.

both teams and clubs probably feel in equal measures to be righteous in having one win, lucky in not having two losses and unlucky in not having two wins.

that said, 10 seconds before the siren went, they could have scored in seven seconds if everything had gone their way in 2005 and it would have taken us fifteen in 2006.
then again, i think it would be worth trying 15-16 players on field so what would i know

The Eagles are lucky to win anything with that numbnuts coaching.

good to see that all premiership and grand finalist coaches of the past two years are equally worthy of contempt. i'd hate to think of what you've got to say of mark williams...

Drummy could have coached the Eagles to a Premiership.

not when the old trundler up the other end serves up the same pies one delivery after another.

Swans were lucky in '05 that Banfield hit the post!

And unlucky that Magic was concussed in 2005 (had the wobbles anyway) or we would have won by more than 20 and the whole mindset would have been different for the 2006 GF as we would have convincingly beaten the Eagles in the previous GF.

Has their been a premiership team that won every game by so much that there wasn't an element of luck?
