Okay, hands up the five closet Eagles' supporters.

Conussed my arse! Just a shocking case of big stage yips!!

or we would have won by more than 20 and the whole mindset would have been different for the 2006 GF as we would have convincingly beaten the Eagles in the previous GF.
          Yes, possibly true.

Has their been a premiership team that won every game by so much that there wasn't an element of luck?
          Essendon 2000, 1985? Hawthorn 1983, 1988? Perhaps a few others.

Sydney were lucky they didn't lose by more.
Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.

If there is one thing that the 2006 grand final should dispel is the claim by some "experts" in Melbourne that Sydney was the "worst premiership side since Collingwood in 1990."

He's a team player though - he let Baz have them this year (with B1 in a supporting role).

Bolton can have the disposal yips at the best of times (I can't believe when he was lining up, my dad said 'this could go anywhere' and I replied that 'he's normally a good set shot' x 2!).

One of the many reasons why our forward line is nowhere near as good as it looks on paper.

These, my fine friend, are the most inflammatory six words anyone has ever said to me.

                          Give yaself an uppercut.

In 2005, we should have put them away after their two early goals in the last, we should have won by 20ish. I think it would have felt very much like we were robbed last year.
                            That is true.
Well done Craig Bolton for getting the co- captaincy in 2008.

Your determination, your tenacity and your under-rated skill is why you have become my favourite player!

The games are quite similar. Both sides should have put the game away in the first half but failed to do so. In both cases the losing team came out firing in the second half. In both cases the team with the lead at half time hung on to win by less than a kick and the losers had a couple of chances in the last minutes.

                                Without a doubt 2005.

If Kerr doesnt get injured in the 2005 game the Eagles would have won 2 in a row.
