    What's Wrong With Roos?

What on earth is the matter with Roos? Fumbling his speeches, not encouraging every player, creating scapegoats and nesting a few favourites. We can't afford upheaval in the team if we are to go all the way again next year. We need inspiration and cohesion.

Far out, this bloke coached the club to a Preliminary Final in 2004, won the flag in 2005 and came runner up by a point in 2006. Wonder how well Terry Wallace would have coached the club instead. He would have us kicking backwards and playing keepings off and going nowhere forward. So what's the alternative guys?

I am extremely happy with the man. He truly is the Messiah.

If a few miscreants fall off the Roos bandwagon for some misguided reasons so be it. Cant keep everyone happy all of the time.

i hope others start to realise that chow-chicker is having a go at himself.... notice the incredible similarities between his 'whats wrong with goodes?' (for which he was thoroughly criticised then admitted he was wrong) and this thread?

i also hope extremely that i am right because if this guy actually IS having a go at roosy... he should be shot

I wouldn't be having a go at Roosy. I don't understand how people can really, but they do and with much venom. The same mob who hounded me for my comments about a champion player, who at the time IMO, was labouring and not paying attention to his direct opponent, are now showering our Premiership coach with such vitriol that is quite staggering, if not, pathetic.

Not really the same mob if you care to look.

Strange though how you seemed to think it was okay for you to have a go at Goodes, and were quite offended when people disagreed vehemently with you, but now you don't think it's okay for some people to have a go at Roos.

Venom and vitriol? Most of the criticism of Roos is quite measured and rational. It's his apologists that get vitriolic and poisonous.

It's bizarre to me that reading quotes and interviews from Roos and comprehending them is considered to be attacking him.

It's a bit like "hearing" a message but not really "listening".

I have since swallowed my tasteless words as Adam gloriously shattered my opinion. I was never offended by other responses, but I was however surprised at the level of abuse. Perhaps I should blow up in a tirade like I was subjected to and see how the author reacts. Whatdya reckon?

It was Preliminary in 2003 and Semi in 2004. I'm not sure about the purpose of this thread, but I don't understand why Roos shouldn't be subject of some criticism as well. Nobody is untouchable, you know.

This is true, but what happens when that criticism is aimed at Goodes or Davis?

Everyone is entitled to their opinion whether it be on Roos, Davis or Goodes.

Everyone and everything at the Swans is up for discussion. We are here to discuss the Swans, after all.

                              Good or bad.

We're all entitled to an opinion. You don't have to agree with what someone says (or doesn't say), all that is asked of you is that you show respect to other people in responding to any comment made.

Sometimes, there's no respect. Sometimes there is respect.

That's just the way society is.

Of course Roos is going to get bagged out this week .... he's the only one talking!!!

It's gunna be a long six months!!
Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.
