    Willo's Farewell Speech

    Absolute classic

Obviously, one of Roosy's favourites. He'll be sadly missed.

(Haven't seen a thread on this so apologies if it's been done.)

To the assistant coaches - Rossy Lyon, John Longmire and Peter Jonas, they have been amazing. They are the best group of assistant coaches that I?ve been involved with...
      Excellent.

        Roosy:

You meet a lot of players as you go through your career, some you tend to forget
Go on. Someone, anyone. Have a go at deciphering this. Maybe this explains his apparant favourites. He simply forgot the rest

          Yep....

A great player and a great mentor...

His absence will create a major hole in our team.

          Thanks for the memories Willo.

Happy you finally got that Premiership medal around your neck and even happier that you got it playing for us.

Top bloke ... on and off the field.
            We miss you Willo.
No-one kicks a goal on the run like you do!!
Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.

I don't remember everyone who worked with me and who worked for me.
He had observed that people who did lie were, on the whole, more resourceful and ambitious and successful than people who did not lie.

That's what I loved about Willo....

Get the ball in a "hard-ball-get" on the back flank... Run it and one-two with Tadgh through the centre... receive it back... bounce.. three times... Baulk two players... step out of three tackles... bounce.. put it on the boot at full tilt from 55m... straight through the middle.. beautiful....

But he could never slot a set shot from 3om directly in front!!

Ah... the sweet n sour of AFL..

Just like YOU forgot to quote the rest of Rooseys sentence.

                  The quote in full ....

Roosy: You meet a lot of players as you go through your career, some you tend to forget, some you remember for a little while but forget as you get a bit older and some you remember for the rest of your life.

There are some people here I'm trying to forget. Does that count?

Captain Logic is not steering this tugboat.

It's so easy to see why there are arguments here when things get massively misinterpreted...
