What about Crouch? And Jarred Moore must be close to the best-25 when fit.

You're having a laugh if you think Davis in Round 1 is not in our best 22.. Along with Spriggs being on the list

Agreed, though I still hope Spriggs gets an opportunity at another club if his run of BOGs in the ACTAFL this year are anything to go by. I would also think about Vogels as the extra tall instead of Grundy, who I do like the look of as well. I don't know who will make way for Crouch.

            Whoakay.

            A fully-fit 25:
            SYDNEY
            B: Roberts-Thomson, Barry, Malceski
            HB: Kennelly, Richards, C.Bolton
            C: Goodes, Kirk, Ablett
            HF: Schneider, Hall , J.Bolton
            F: O'Keefe, O'Loughlin, Davis
            FOLL: Everitt, Buchanan, McVeigh
            I/C: Crouch, Fosdike, Dempster, Jolly
            EMG: Vogels, Bevan, Grundy

Generally I think you got it good but Crouch comes in for Matthews, Vogels gets onto the emergency list as a replacement back and Grundy will be on the fringe. An injury to one of our half forwards/midfielders will see him or Beven rotated in. Doyle is stiff to miss out but will also be rotated in if a tall goes down. Spriggs, we just got too many midfield runners. For a lot of these fringe players they are feeling the pain of having a relatively clean injury sheet.

                Without knowing the team list....

                B: Barry - Richards - Crouch
HB: CBolton - Vogels - Malcheski
                C: Goodes - JBolton - Kennelly
                HF: O'Keefe - Hall - Dempster
                F: Schnider - O'Loughlin - Davis

FOLL: Jolly - Kirk - Buchanan

INT: Everitt - McVeigh - Grundy - Fosdike

EME: Ablett - LRT - Bevan

I'd have another 6 emergencies before Matthews got a mention.

Richards and Vogels to step into KP - can they handle it? Only one way to find out.

Barry to play on the type of player he should have been towelling up his whole career.

Kennelly to the midfield. Dempster to play lock down role on opposing teams quarterback HBF - Dempster/Schnider and Davis to rotate through midfield.

Grundy and Vogels to be developed as 'Hunter' (gotta think of a better phrase) type players.

Stick Malceski into the centre, there's no point wasting one of our most skillful players in the back half, let's use him where he can do the most damage.

                    Lindsay Gilbee/ Robert Murphy?....Nigel Lappin?....

These type of player coming from the back are becoming more and more important - and they've got to be an excellent kick with great vision.... Malcheski fits the bill.

I think the term you are seeking might be 'swingers'!

Jolly will still be our first ruck IMO. Everitt will be better later in the quarter.
