I rather have Davis than Mathews in the team.

But think of the HO averages for the ruckmen; Davis pretty much never forces a stoppage whilst Benny is the master!
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

Except Roos mate Matthews isn't in it. He must have some very compromising photos locked away somewhere.
The eternal connundrum "what happens when an unstoppable force meets an immovable object" was finally solved when David Hasselhoff punched himself in the face.

I'd like to see Kennelly play in the midfield to see how he goes without concern for an opponent. He seems a naturally attacking player, and loves a goal on the run - I think he'd complement the rest of the midfield as well.

Everyone seems to think Malcheski will play on the HBF...plus LRT (or someone who might be good at CHB), plus CBolton....he'd be wasted in the last line of defense (opposition coaches try and drag him here)...Vote 1 Tadgh to midfield

Cant overly justify 3 rucks in a game that is played at increasingly fast speeds. Doyle over Jolly on current form plus Doyle will finally have a full pre-season under him.

Two good knees under him would be better, Jolly is ahead of him by a mile at the moment.

But i take your point, re preseason.

Why would anyone consider Jude Bolton as a forward?
Captain Logic is not steering this tugboat.

I read an article afew weeks back now and it said he was onto the lighter plaster for a 8 wk period or something so i am guessing now he would be close to getting it off. Should be right for most of the preseason i reckon lol. He said on GF day he would be back in 07 fitter and faster than ever. YAY.

My 2007 team: (ps im not good with positioning i admit that)

                    FB: Barry Richards Bevan
                    HB: Kennelly LRT C Bolts
                    C: Crouch kirk Goodes
                    HF: O'Keefe Hall Buchanan
                    FF: Schnieder M'OL Davis
                    Foll: Jolly J bolts Malceski

                    INT: Fosdike Everitt McVeigh Ablett

                    EMG: Phillips Grundy Moore

With my team i mixed up my forwardline with both talls and smalls to add pace and push into the midfield. eg- Buchannan.

I put Crouch in the centre for pace and to also stop key midfielders in the middle ie- Judd. Goodes is a ball magnet so i put him on a wing hopefully to give us abit of extra drive forward.

I included Bevan in my back line to play on the small forwards like what crouch use to do he has done this job ok in the past.

Kennelly and Bolts on the half back line to provide run. And run is what they must do no stop start stop start stuff.

My interchange has the back up ruckman and three runners to interchange on the ball.

I personally cant see room for all three ruckman to play at once.

Jude Bolton a Forward (NMW Bloods):
Because he has a good mark, powerful legs and can kick goals, as shown throught this year. Most of or midfielders are rotated through the forward line at some point during a game, either to give them a quick little spell without taking them off or to break up the structure of the game.
