Everyone seems to think Malcheski will play on the HBF...plus LRT (or someone who might be good at CHB), plus CBolton....he'd be wasted in the last line of defense (opposition coaches try and drag him here)...Vote 1 Tadgh to midfield
HB is the modern running midfield.
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

jude is often named in the forward flank and just pushes up into the midfield as the game goes on. he doesnt actually play forward.

Swannies more often than not play with a 5 man forward line.
The eternal connundrum "what happens when an unstoppable force meets an immovable object" was finally solved when David Hasselhoff punched himself in the face.

It's more the opponent thing. He obvioiusly does a good job, I just think he'd be better up the ground. Watch him in the international rules. I will suggest he will play an attacking role in that.

Goals throughout the year, but misses them smack in front in a grand final. The year means diddly squat when you miss sitters in the GF. Pretty boy club man will be one of the first midfielders to feel the heat next year.

Yeh he would be better up the ground, about 3 kilometres.

One L.Abblett will be in trouble before Bolton.

Can someone produce a goal kicking stat for Jude over his career...my sense would be it has never been great & perhaps deteriorated. He has never been a goal getter in any sense. I agree that if we found a centefielder with a bit of pace & better disposal he will start to struggle.

Jude Bolton is the most inappropriatley labeled pretty boy in the AFL in my opinion.

It's funny....whenever he has a set shot from outside 50 he absolutely launches himself into it and more often than not it goes through...30m out, right in front, now that's a different story....

I doubt if you're alone among the silent masses who are shouted down by the myopic vocal ones.
Captain Logic is not steering this tugboat.

So what your saying is, Hall is crap for missing two relatively easy goals in the GF even though he was devestating the rest of the year? Interesting.

For the Statsman: Jude has kicked 69 goals in 139 games for Sydney, an average of about 0.5 a game. In 2006 (including finals) he was shooting at 65% with 13 goals 7 behinds. Not too shabby in my book for a midfielder who pushes forward.

Bolton averages 0.5 per goals game...just confirms that he is not a goal kicker. Disposal generally poor which takes the gloss of his bravery / ball getting ability. A number of OOB on the full also from memory.
