As much as i respect the man, and understand he's had to deal with alot of trauma, it'd be nice if he stopped having a change of heart every 2 weeks.

Kerry's got a gun team at the moment - they're quite young too. They won the All-Ireland title by a mile...after a slight hiccup earlier in the season. He's just got to turn up for one of the next 4 years and he'll get his title.

This seems to be the thing that causes all this flip-flopping.
The eternal connundrum "what happens when an unstoppable force meets an immovable object" was finally solved when David Hasselhoff punched himself in the face.

I can understand that, but he's trying to make his cake n eat it too, and at first it seemed kind of romantic, but now it appears slightly selfish.

TK is a pain in the arse atm he's like a bloody woman cant make up his bloody mind.I've got this feeling that he only signed a 3yr deal to get people of his back as he said ...
"And if I want to go Sydney Swans aren?t going to tie me to the bed. At the end of the day if I don?t want to be there, then that would show on the football field, and they would-n?t want that either.
So we will see how he is playing at the end of next year.
Now this is a thread that i would expect on the ego -centric, wank session that is redandwhiteonline.com...

We should have traded him this year and then he could do as he choosed.

i think all tadhg is really guilty of is trying to appease everyone. he's copping a tonne of pressure from some of the most parochial people on earth to return to give some village yet another win in some lopsided amateur comp. so he lets a bit of loose talk slide to some rag back home and suddenly they're turning on the guinness fountain in the middle of listowel and having a little jig. honestly, is the novel idea of maybe breaking a contract in the future a two full-column articles material?

again, i think people should relax a little about what others say to the media, particularly when they are under pressure to say something that will appease people.

the journalist is clearly an idiot for not mentioning U2 in the list of cultural exports. biggest by a mile.
then again, i think it would be worth trying 15-16 players on field so what would i know

Classic politician stance, you tell each side what they want to hear and then do something different.

You will get this story every year from Ireland, but Tiger signed a three year deal rather than a one or two which shows he was committed to stick it out for a little longer.

"So after next season I will sit down again and talk with Noel about what options I have and what I will do," he added.
i.e. not going anywhere, will retire with Roos, Hall, Kirk, MickyO, Barry, Crouch, Matthews, Everitt, Jolly in three years. Something to look forward too????(shudder)

This is the same stuff the Irish papers were prinitng last year too.

Didn't Kenelly just sign a new 3 year deal with the Swans ?

He is not going anywhere for the next 3 years

He probably had a few bevvies before the interview.
I heard that guiness stuff can losen your tongue somewhat ... don't know ... Johnnie Walker never talks!!
Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.

                              Just to play devil's advocate.....

The three-year deal doesn't really bind Tiger does it??? Not whne you think about it it doesn't. Let's say he gets homesick, throws in the towel, heads home and breaks his contract. What can be done??? Nothing... Nada.. Zippety doo da.. sweet FA...

Why?? I mean all that can be done is stop him from playing for another AFL club. If he's going home to play Gaelic... Big @@@@ing Deal... He'll be running out the next weekend....

The contract isn't worth the paper it's written on should he choose to go back to Ireland...
