I just don't understand how that happened to you....those horrible people behind me at the GrandFinal weren't even members and didn't ring thru Ticketek or whoever did it. They just rang the AFL and asked for seats.

I wish it had been you sitting there. I'm still not over it.

I dont care what happens at the scg just as long as i get my reserved seats in the churchill stand every time i come up.
Now this is a thread that i would expect on the ego -centric, wank session that is redandwhiteonline.com...

Well I got my letter yesterday. Dad had no idea what he was talking about!

It seems we (there are 8 of us in my family who sit together) are in the unlucky 50 or so people whose seats will be disappaering permanently from the Churchill stand to be replaced by a scoreboard. They have offered us seats, but they are further around toward where the scoreboard is now, and we'll probably be right behind the goalposts, which is downgrading as far as I'm concerned. We'll also be moved back a few rows. The letter says that we can apply to be moved to another grandstand and they'll see what they can do, but with 8 of us together, I wouldn't like our chances.

*sigh* I'm thinking of getting a Supporters Membership next year instead. It all just seems too hard right now.

          What a dilemma. Poor pet.
Stuff 'em. Fight for better seats.

They'll probably try and move you to the Bradman stand, there are heaps of spare seats up there.

How will people in the O'Reilly,Bradman & Messenger stands and Bays 1-10 get to their seats next year??

I'm in Bay 7 - with the hill out of action, I guess we'll have to go round the SFS and go through the back entrance behind the Bradman Stand.
It'll be even more congested trying to get out. Your best bet is not to attempt it straight away - go up to Luffy's do in the MA Noble and wait for the crowds to clear.

You never know - after our massive performance slump this year there might be a lot non-renewals next year.

I would assume you'd get priority for any seats that became available.

Nope, they want to move us further along in the Churchill (east/south). Would be happy with the Bradman.

You could try to sit in a 4 x 2 rectangle mayhaps? 4 people in one row and another 4 behind them? I'd presume you'd have better chances with that then just 8 in a row.

Besides, the membership department aren't going to be stupid. If they have to split you then they'll undoubtedly try to keep it as close together as possible. I know its not ideal but better then missing out, surely.

Where are your current seats? I've been wondering where this new screen is going to go.

The second last time I moved seats they were only able to offer me 2+2 (one row and 10 seats apart). Actually worked out quite well with the two teenage boys sitting a bit away from the two Dads! We no longer had to get annoyed when they started behaving like boys.

Thats how we usually sit but in a 6x6. Its much better as you can all talk to each other. The prelim sucked as there were 12 of us in a row so we couldnt celebrate with people up the other end in the row (in this case, was Erinn) which was bad coz shes my main singing buddy! lol

Got my letter. Probably the worst insult of all - we have to move because our seats next year are being designated for opposition Cheer Squads only.

                          Thank gawd it's only temporary.

Where do you sit Tuco? It will be interesting to see where they place both Cheer Squads.

One can only hope that sanity will prevail and our CS will move to the Noble - permanently with any luck.

It's only SCG Trust toffiness that has stopped this so far

Bay 4. Formerly a very passionate group of Swans fans. But as of 2007...there goes the neighbourhood.
