Re: next year
Pretty sure the deal requires both Sydney and Brisbane to get all games on FTA.Originally posted by music_2000

That's the main reason we have no Friday night or twilight games. -

The reason we don't have Friday night games is so that we'll get all of our games live on FTA TV.
Channel 10 & 7 have both made the commitment to the AFL that all Swans games will go live into Sydney.Comment

This is at least one area where Channel 10 deserves some credit.
Even when they were copping a pasting in the ratings they stuck to their guns and kept the Swans on.... Mind you, it was in between BB & Idol seasons so they had @@@@ all else to put on!!

It's a scream. It's got some great backyard home-made shows.Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.

I couldn't get it on the TV, but was able to tune in via the video.
Try that.

My reception for Ch31 is non-existent. I suspect the AFL would strongly consider legal action if that is what 7 & 10 are planning. It hardly makes the game available to the widest audience and, in my view, significantly cheapens the AFL brand."As everyone knows our style of football is defensive and unattractive, and as such I have completely forgotten how to mark or kick over the years" - Brett Kirk

Yeh, but from Ch 31's perspective I'm sure Friday Nite Football will make a great lead-in to Parramatta's version of "Wayne's World".Originally posted by hammo
