His brother Billy Elliot is a good dancer Sal, so Spider may be a contestant in "Dances with Lupins" a show on the new fangled invention called Television. Last time I went to NobNob there was one at the Community Centre. You will be able to watch Spider Elliot strut his well co-ordinated stuff on the prarie.

Spider and Barry enjoyed their time at the Angels. Thank heavens, Sal, they didn't transfer to the Melbourne Devils with Russell "Soar-like-an-Eagle" Robertson.

(It's holiday time and I haven't spoken to NobNob for ages...bear with me)

I saw some of the boys doing some extra training on the Lake Oval this week- including Spida.

At the Lake Oval? Old habits die hard.

            It's in the paper today.
They had a son named Boston According to the paper they kept the birth a secret for 2 weeks. He weighed in at 6lb 11oz (3kg). Sounds like he's long and lean!
Spider and Sheree have also announced their engagement. Congratulations to them!

I think you'll find the training ground is actually called Lake Oval (or Lakeside?), and sometimes Bus Loop Oval. I prefer Lake for obvious reasons.

                      Hammo, you are indeed correct.
The oval that is used for training in Sydney is called Lake Oval (what a bloody coincidence, eh??). It's always been called Lake Oval.

It's called that because it's next to the man-made lake outside the SCG.
Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.
