    Melbourne Family Day

Has anyone heard any more about the Melbourne Family Day. There was an email about a month ago with the following information.
"This year our Family Day in Melbourne is going to be on SATURDAY 2 DECEMBER from 3.00pm - 6.00pm"

Why does Melbourne get a family day and not Sydney?! All that special treatment for Melbourne based supporters while up in Sydney we're neglected!!

Actually, we're too busy enjoying our beautiful city, weather, beaches, surrounding countryside etc. I guess there's not much happening down in Bleak City (so there )

I don't eat animals since discovering this ability. I used to. But one day the lamb I was eating came through to me and ever since then I haven't been able to eat meat.

"Fill the 'G" today. It's a happening place.

I guess because they don't reside/train here, so we can't just rock up to training anytime we like.

                OR

Maybe they just like us better.

Isn't there usually a pre-season BBQ (at Randwick I think - used to be called "Barassi's BBQ"). Never been to it though. Plus the North Sydney game is social event, with a clinic and players available beforehand for autographs etc.

In Melb the "Family Day" is a key part of the annual membership drive - that's the reason for the pre-Xmas timing.

I'm pretty sure that BBQ fell by the wayside a few years back. It's a shame because my nephew and I use to love it.
