Agreed. Not a good thing for Brisvegas at all. As was mentioned before, he should hang his head in shame.
Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.
Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones who let in the light.

      Shame.
Though i guess not all clubs can pick up someone as good as Bo Nixon in these type of unfortunate circumstances.
Sit down or i swear to God i'll have you shot.

Brisbane are understandably talking legal action.

They have asked the AFL to investigate if any dealings had taken place before the draft, that might have lured Michael to Essendon.

It is a bit of poor form, with all the sooking he did late in the year.

Imagine the line up though, It will free up Fletcher and McPhee a bit more, and with Lucas Hird and Lloyd up the other end. Just not much in between.

Michael will have to kick very long.

No, I reckon Essendon might finally collect some wood next season. Hird's a week by week proposition. Lloyd may struggle to recapture past form.

Gotta love Mals' quote in the press.

"People come out of retirement all the time, in the work place. My dad did it, he didn't get a press conference"

Yeah Mal, way to make yourself look as dumb as dog sh**!! not to mention ignorant and disrespectful.

                  Mal Michael

Can't believe what he has done to his club. That was a deliberate dog's act and I'm sure it was planned. However, I reckon this is one great coup the Bummers have pulled off here. Mal Michael would easily be the best talent in the PSD, and it wasn't until after Carlton (who has first pick) announced and signed Hackland that the Bummers made their move. Carlton are rightfully filthy. They have 1st pick in the ND, a move which they have obviously decided to pick Gibbs instead of Leuenberger, because they got Hackland. Now it looks as though the Bummers will get Mal Michael and Leuenberger!! It's become a circus.

You can't go from being completely non-interested and side tracked, to playing a blinder of a season. I'm guessing Mal wont be on the Bombers list at the end of 2007.

I guess we'll see, and as for Aker, i think he owed Brisbane more than Brisbane owed him. He was a superstar but he had no respect for many people at the club, or any other club.

No, he helped win the games, during their triple premiership assualt many players were firing, Brown, Power, Voss, Black, Lappin, Michael, Scott, Lynch etc, not just Aker, and being a great player doesn't make you a great person, you need to be both to earn respect IMO.

I never said he was a great person,i said he was a great player. If one of the swans players was a tool i wouldnt care as long as he performed well on the ground.

You also made it seem like he had a halo on his head while the peope at Brisbane were poking pitchforks at him.
