Agree with the sentiment regarding the treatment of his club....but he would be my favorite non-swan player. The first thing I thought when he announced his retirementment was ' I hope the swannies are on the blower making sure he's sure....'
The eternal connundrum "what happens when an unstoppable force meets an immovable object" was finally solved when David Hasselhoff punched himself in the face.

Acker is as exciting as Capper.
Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.

All Acker has to do is grow a mullet, and shave off the offensive black goatee, and they'd be twins!!

                  They're both ugly as sin.

Well, Mal will be a Bomber next year.

If you cannot compete for the premiership, it's better to be young and exciting than middle-aged and dowdy.

                      That's a bad thing.
Sort of sets a precedent, doesn't it?

Precendent for what? All it means is that Brisbane were sloppy with the contractual management, and other teams will be alert to any future problems.

I'll see if I can turn this into yet another Cousins bashing thread...

"Eagles chief executive Trevor Nisbett spoke to Cousins yesterday and was satisfied with his explanation and the club issued a statement saying Cousins had "already received sufficient punishment through the public scrutiny of his arrest"."

So apparently if you're a tool, that's punishment enough!?!
