There is so much ammunition to fire at the Illegals players when they run out onto Telstra Stadium in just over two weeks. I wish I had a seat on the boundary. If any RWOers are within ear shot of any Illegals players, give 'em hell!

It depends what you're testing for. A little growth hormone or steroids to help with some increased strength here, a few steroids to help that ankle op heal up quick smart - these must be tested for year round. Illicit stuff is often tested for at the same time as performance enhancing stuff which means that to test for performance enhancing you generally have to test for illicit as well. But it's what they do with those results (e.g. release the lot, or withhold any illicit substance use etc) that should be under consideration.

According to Tim Morrissey on Fox Sports this arvo, Roosy has some strong words to say about this issue in tomorrow's Tele.

I suggest those that take offence with Roosy's most banal utterances should avoid any News Ltd publication tomorrow.

Yep, which is why I prefer to stay out of the Eagles-bashing, tempting as it may be. We'll probably never really know what actually happened, but it's very easy to forget how lucky Conduct Unbecoming was to escape from that more or less unscathed. Again, largely thanks to that effective media department the Swans have.

From the city that brought us Alan Bond/Bond Corp and Brian Burke, we now have the current Illegals team. We should have cut them from the Federation when they wanted it many years ago.

Luckily for them, very few of our boys are widely recognised, so they can probably get away with more.
Yep - I think that's a major factor in the non-traditional football states.
