Ok this may sound strange but I'm hoping there is someone out there who can answer this question!
I've just moved from Sydney to Melbourne, and yesterday took out a Melbourne membership for 2007. I'm letting my reserved seat in Sydney go obviously. When I rang up and paid for my membership though, I was informed that I lose my current membership number altogether and get a new one because Sydney and Melbourne members are on totally different databases. Now it might not sound like much but I'm actually pretty peeved - I have a 4-digit membership number (i.e. pre-bandwagon!
) and have been a member for 13 years, but all that gets lost in the system because I've moved interstate. Does anyone know if they just "suspend" my sydney number or do they reallocate it to someone else altogether?

Might still ring and confirm but sounds as though I won't be lost after all! Thanks so much!
