    Goodes heads AFL All-Stars line-up

    Link
Dual Brownlow Medallist Adam Goodes heads a star-studded list of players named in a preliminary squad for the AFL's Indigenous All-Stars game against Essendon next month.

Goodes and Sydney team-mate Michael O'Loughlin are both in the 30-man All-Stars squad.

Just another feather on the cap!

To be honest, I'd rather he and Mick didn't play.

We really don't need them damaged before Round 1.
Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.
Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones who let in the light.

And why are they playing against Essendon?

Maybe the AFL could organise a team from the desendants of convicts, rather than the ones already at Essendon.
The eternal connundrum "what happens when an unstoppable force meets an immovable object" was finally solved when David Hasselhoff punched himself in the face.

I'd rather they didn't play. This game has knee injury written all over it.

I have to reverse the karma now ... "This game has Essendon knee injury written all over it."

MOL wont play. There is no way they would risk him just to play in the Kevin Sheedy self promotion giggle. Besides when was the last time he played in a pre season game this early.

Should be a NT Aboriginal side, not a side made up of largely other AFL club players.

I wonder what their contracts say and the insurance ramifications. I guess the AFL will underwrite a player doing his career in this game.
