    Schmidt and Grundy impress

    Link
Grundy and Schmidt - who played six and two games respectively in the latter stages of last season - have lifted a notch in their fitness, much to the delight of Longmire.
Will we have a new Gun Forward and a new Gun Midfielder this year?

Hope so we dont want to lose them to other teams.

Getting a bit ahead of yourself. Both have good potential and timing is right form them to step up as Kirky and Hall can only have a few years left in the tank.

Schmidt??? Pfft.. hasn't impressed yet and he's well overdue to do something for us after we've held on to him for a while...

Very happy to see Reg as a regular in our side. Hope he lifts just that fraction required to really contribute to the team on a week-in, week-out basis.

Each year the player/s mentioned in dispatches seems to step up that season e.g. O'Keefe a few years ago. I suppose they are given support for their efffort. I was hoping it was Laidlaw that was going to get the mention this year. Dang!
