Tell the AFL what you think...

    About the draft.

They are calling for supporter feedback.

Sod the draft. I want them to invite comments on the way they keep messing with the rules, never content to leave anything alone for a decent run of seasons to see what the long term impact is, but rather insisting on further "tweaks" year after year after year.

Why can they not just leave our game alone?

Yeah, they were my thoughts when I clicked on the link too.

I reckon most of us on here could run the game better than the way the Bozo's at AFL house do.

They actually had a survey on the rules a while back (IIRC it was after the 2005 season). They were interested in things like the kick-in rule, rushed behinds etc. In the general comments section I went with your tip liz - stop changing the rules!

Why do you care about the rules ?

I thought it was about the journey

And what if the rules affect the journey?
My Pokemon brings all the boys to the yard and they're like "Wanna trade cards?"
"Damn right, I wanna trade cards. I can beat you, I've got Charizard!"

Good point, i take it back.

Although, I think 'the journey' should not be about rules though. It is more about dreaming, believing & achieving IMHO.

People have been banned for less.

I say less rules. Less umps. More big men and more fights, king hits, wedgies and blood, lots more blood. Let's get footy back to what made it great.

Siriulsy. I'm with the majority. Stop with the fiddling. Quick kick in to speed the game up then a limited interchange to slow it down... genius.

I miss the eye gouging, and a good tight squirrel grip, not enough of it anymore. Plus, when was the last time you saw a decent head butt ? Not one of those mamby pamby lean too far forward jobs !

It is spoiling my 'journey' that is for sure

Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha. You're cracking me up Vic. That's the funniest post on RWO EVER! We really are in the middle of silly season when (mostly) perfectly sane people like you submit posts like this.

Rule Change 1:The AFL should enforce the "No di#$@#$ds policy at ever other club"Gee that means no Wet Toast Illigirls this year then.
