We went through Rome on the way to Israel flying with Alitalia. It was like the pilot looked down and saw the runway was about 10-20 metres below the wheels and just dropped the plane on it. It's the only time I have heard people scream when landing.

Just booked the Richmond game over the Easter Weekend. I got a fare for $120 on Qantas going down, and used my Velocity points for my flight home (Thanks Virgin Blue!!)
Was able to pick up the Mercure Welcome Hotel for $110 for a superior room. It was just $89 for a standard. A good little find. I have stayed there before, it's close to everything, the rooms are a bit small (who cares??), and the price is right. Only downside is the homeless people hanging around.
God my Credit card is getting a bit of a workout!!

The only close one is The Brewery which is next to the Stadium. I don't know if others go to pubs in other suburbs first though.

Yes, i do like the word like.

Yes, but this is at Avalon airport we're talking about.. so that was part of the reason i found it funny, especially seeing after it i went to the bathroom and when i came out my sister had told me that a man had been tested and they had found something on him and all they did was take his number and then he got on the plane. That really shows something about the test.
