Did Roosy give you guys the cold shoulder at some Swans function a long time back. The way you guys p*ss on about Roos it's like he kicked your dog one too many times.

I think people who know the man would find your comments to be completely off the mark. He's a consummate gentleman with an active, albeit dry sense of humor that may come off the wrong way with the media.

I'd just like to know what it was the Roos did in your collective books that so infuriarates you.

Maybe the fact that he called his shots taking the club to the finals every year since taking over. Or maybe your bitter that the Swans won a premiership, and missed a second one by a point. Or the fact that his players love him and the Swans team first mentality has become the want of every club in the comp. Yeah, you guys are right he's a complete tosser.

I can't speak for ROK but something that bugs me on RWO is hero worship. Roos is in love with himself and talks more @@@@ than Sheedy but some people on RWO have trouble with that. These are probably the same people that think Plunger accidentally bit down, Shagger paid a girl money for having a beer, Love was playing a tough brand of country footy, Cressa just winked at the girl and that retrospectively, maybe Caven deserved to have his jaw broken by that champion Lockett. It's every bit as odd as the Eagles fans who deny that Cousins ever made a mistake.

I am not too keen on Roos the media performer as I don't think he fully appreciates the gravitas expected of his position but as a coach I wouldn't want any other in the AFL. I just wish he'd let the team back themselves and play attacking footy a bit more.

I see this more as another concerted effort to talk the Horse up rather than any extention of Roos talking himself up.

We were in a tricky spot at the end of last year with 2 out 3 key assistants gone and the 3rd one very close to walking out to broaden his horizons further (given on the surface it appeared one of reasons the Saints took Lyon instead of Horse). The Club (and Roos) needed to come up with something to tempt Horse to stay on and talking this arrangement up is all a part of making sure some stability is maintained with the Horse staying on.
