- is a successful coach,
- thinks about what he says,
- does what he says he will, and
- appears to have massive respect from the players.
For those reasons, I think a lot of people take his comments at face value and so no reason to doubt that he is valuable to the club and has the club's best interests at heart.
I find those who are so ready to find fault with his public comments very difficult to understand.
