    AFL on FOX for 2007

This lineup for AFL on Fox looks good.

    AFL on Fox

Winners, On the Couch and Fox League Teams survive and daytime replays etc.

Alas no WLF, but pretty bloody good all the same

Great news indeed for the foxtel subscriber. I'm extra glad they kept the replays so i could record them for future reference.

I'm a bit confused about our Sunday arvo game schedule.
Fox have the rights to both 3 and 4 games? Does this mean channel 7 and fox will be running the swans game together at the same time? only difference is that fox wont have ad breaks during goals?

Where's Clinton? I want Clinton back! Surely they can fit in an hour of White Line Fever every week night? Sigh, RIP Fox Footy channel.

        Yep,

It's basically a case of Fox will show the games they are showing nationally. Then in the cases where it is a Fox covered game that happens to be a non-Melb team playing, that game will also be shown on FTA into the same city. So in the case of Swans games at 1pm Sunday, the Ch 7 coverage into Sydney will be the Fox feed, with the game also live on Fox.

So where there was a flip-flop previously (and Fox would then show the FTA feed in a given city), this no longer exists.

        I'm on the Chandwagon!!!

If you cannot compete for the premiership, it's better to be young and exciting than middle-aged and dowdy.

Thanks for posting the document - it was a good guide. It leaves me puzzled on a couple of questions though:-

          1) It doesn't address the Friday night game into NSW & Qld issue, as I thought this deal meant that the game would be shown live or near live into those states

          2) What does it mean for the Saturday night FTA game when Sydney isn't playing, or for the FTA game when Ten run the Swans game in NSW rather than the FTA game they are showing elsewhere? Do we get to see it at all or not until the replay on Fox on Sunday?

Live on Foxtel, near live on Seven for some parts of the state such as the Riverina in NSW and Gold Coast in QLD and delayed (4-5 hours) for Sydney/Brisbane on Seven.

            1. If Sydney are not playing, then Fox show both their game and will also show the Channel 10 game live. Channel 10 game will still be on FTA, but at 10.45pm.

            2. If Sydney are the Saturday night Fox game, then we don't see the Channel 10 "national" game until Fox replay it at some point.

So unless Sydney are the Satruday night Fox game we should be pretty right. Thanks for clearing that up.
