Are the members reserve tickets from aisle 119 - or 120? - I dont remember, but its very close and we are normally in row 32 just on the left as you come through the corridor. So maybe you are on the otherside of the blue dividing bit to us - anyway we are always there early (Ange, ORB & Me) so come and say g'day - we may even share our 2001 "ribena" with you The lovely Cruiser sits near us as well.
I used to be indecisive, but now I'm not so sure..................

Alas, no more Wardy, now that we have reserved seats this season. I think we might be sitting in the stand above you - I might toss you down a lolly now and then.

It may be difficult that way if you havn't bought guest passes before.
Can someone explain how the members guest passes work? I presume as a member (for Telstra games only?) you can get a limited number of seats sitting next to you for that match? Is that about right?

There is no reserved seating in the Swans members reserve at Telstra, nor is it full. Thus members who sit there can buy "guest passes". In normal years the same thing appplies at the SCG to those of us who sit in the SCG members area, though with the renos we will not be able to this year. It's one of the reasons why I have a members reserve membership, as it is good to be able to invite friends and have them sit with you. The downside of course is that it is necessary to get to games early to bag a good seat.

Ah ok, so this refers to the unreserved members seating. If I have reserved seating, presumably I can't just buy 3 accompanying tickets?

That's the way to do it although it presents quite a challenge to maintain an acceptable level of drunkeness. A four hour stint at the pub (four hours is my acceptable minimum standard) plus a 2.5-3 hour game is tough going by anyone's standards

You can often buy tickets in the same vicinity as your reserved seat, but in virtually all cases you won't be able to get the seats immediately next to you as they will have been assigned to other members.

For those of you with reserved seats, you may be interested to know that I was able to buy these Swans Members unreserved seats so that a bunch of us could sit together. I've only just realised that they still charged me for the 2 Swans members as well as the guests, but at $30 a pop it's certainly cheaper than buying 5 reserved seats & probably cheaper than buying 3 anywhere other than in the Gods.

I needed to get one of these 'guest passes' but when i went on the website all the seats in the non alcohol bay where i usually sit were sold.

If i'd still buy one could we all go sit in some unreserved area?

I'm so confused.. i've never done this before.
