    Ommmmmm Ommmmmmm

    Swans take path to enlightenment
COACH Paul Roos swears by it and so does co-captain Brett Kirk - and soon the entire Sydney Swans team may take up meditation.
Roos, who meditates daily, said this week a number of players had expressed interest in learning to relax through meditation.
Must be why he is so relaxed.
"It is a personal thing," Kirk says. "But I see the benefits in Paul's ability to stay calm and make good decisions under immense pressure. He is a bit of a role model to me as a leader and in the way he conducts himself."

    Hippies.
They're all turning into a pack of tree-hugging hippies.

Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.
Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones who let in the light.

Exactly. I just don't use the Ommmmmmmmmm - LOL.

I'm sure it's one of the reasons Paul Roos and Brett Kirk are such good guys.

(And congrats on the talented son, Annie)

If they'd meditated more last year we'd have back-to-back Premierships.

What a confused mind Spida will be when he starts meditating.

I just had this amazing visual when I read that.

I don't know about Spida but a lot of the young men I know who have gone on to play top level footy just didn't strike me as the meditating type. I had this image of a lonely meditation thought running around in this huge space, like a pingball in an empty basketball stadium. I'm still chuckling.

(Of course this poor old thought would be diverted by the thought that men supposedly think about approx every 7 seconds) That would almost make it a 1 on 1 game in that empty stadium. Wierd hey.
