As for Davis not being a runner, well that was last year.... Look out in '07 for Davis breaking th elines through the centre...
WTF???
I know we're near the Horden, but this ain't no dance party.Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.

Mark my words Annie.... You'll see plenty of the boy tucking that ball under his arm and running thru the centre and bombing goals from 50+ on the run in 07......
Wanna bet?Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.

I reckon Lethal's gone one year too early. I think we will be a genuine chance again in 07, but probably won't be in 08 and 09 as Spida, Kirk, MO'L, Barry and Hall become less effective or retire.
I don't expect we'll have to drop down to the bottom before we come up again - as others have pointed out we have plenty of young and prime aged talent. But I think it will take at least a couple of years before we are as strong in the key positions.Comment

Incidently, I don't think you necessarily need to be a dour in and under player to 'win' the football. Chris Judd does quite OK at winning a lot of the ball."As everyone knows our style of football is defensive and unattractive, and as such I have completely forgotten how to mark or kick over the years" - Brett Kirk

With Spida in the team, it makes sense to add more skilled players to the midfield mix as "outside midfielders". I'm led to believe that Spida is a "tap ruckman" which I hope implies he can deftly deliver the ball to his team mates.
Without mentioning names, a willingness to put your head on someone's boot to get a ball and feed it out is a great attribute if you kick helicopters. That doesn't mean that everyone should be doing it. If you have a decent kick, you're better off on your feet getting "soft" possessions. I can see Davis and Malceski being involved in this role.Comment
