Bruce is back, and i'm happy!

I for one was happy to hear Bruce again tonight, before and during the Collingwood vs Kangaroos match. I always thought he added more excitement than most other commentators, and doesn't have that annoying habit of making stupid jokes every 3 minutes, like Dennis

You must be mistaken - there's still two hours till Bruce is on!

I was underwhelmed with the enthusiasm of his call. Now I remember why I enjoyed the last 5 years of watching footy so much...oh yeah...and there was that premiership thing.

What a commentator, really showed his class last night.

Denis and Bruce make a brilliant team. Very glad the footy is back on 7.

              Totally agree.

That "good in tight spaces" comment was very very rehearsed.
He just waited for a (sort of) appropriate time to say it.

Same with most of his other 'quick witted' remarks.
Bruce was ok, but the best thing about last night was the Wobbles losing.
Always a nice way to start the season

The commentary was good. Didn't detract from the game like a lot of the inane chat on 9 used to. And it was calm. I don't like it when commentators yell to the point you can't even hear what they're saying.

Jury's still out with regards to Ox, but high marks for Bruce and Dennis.

Yeah I thought the Ox struggled to think on his feet, but early days I guess.

I'm suprised Bruce could think on his feet standing next to him. It was like david and goliath, really hit home how well-deserving Schwarz is of his nickname.

The Ox is very good on Melbourne radio. He'll find his feet on the box soon enough.

I didn't see any of the Ch 7 coverage last night but did catch a bit of the Crows Port game on Fox and was very happy to hear Clinton Grybas in the box. Interesting to see that Rohan Smith has found himself a boundary rider job in retirement.

Just saw a coming up next job on Fox waiting for the Swans game to start - looks as though Dwayne Russell has moved over to Fox from Ch 9.

The Swans are the only club to have no games broadcast by Channel 7 this season.
