I never use them as keyrings anyway. Seems to me to be always made of some sort of scratch-attracting metal or plastic.

What I do every year is to basically remove the keyring part, and sticky-tape the medallion (or this year, the fence paling) into the membership card wallet.

Oh, and that naff lanyard attachment has GOT to go.

177th Senior AFL Match - Round 4, 2009 - Sydney vs Carlton, SCG. This is obviously out of date. I suppose I'll update it once I could be bothered sitting down with the fixture and working it out....

I received mine today and concur about the keyrings - they are @@@@.

Des, those lanyards are very useful - just like bum bags. They are Dork Identification Symbols.

I'm still waiting for mine. Two of the friends I go to the footy with are a couple, one received his membership on Monday, the other is still waiting. If its not in alphabetical order it's quite random.

mine arrived - agree the lanyard thing is a bit lame and the flimsy bit of string that attaches too it will break in no time - but hey getting the stuff in the mail means that its not long now till our Swans obsession is in full swing - bring on March 31!
I used to be indecisive, but now I'm not so sure..................

                          Thats so true.

Went up to Sydney last year to watch the flag unfurling. Being the first home game, lots of kids were collecting their membership "goodies". I had young Doctor J. with me, who had already collected his stuff the week before at the SNDon game. (basically a poster, a very lame plastic clapper and some stickers) To his major disappointment, the Sydney based junior members pack included a footy. As he duly noted, at least if he got it, he could actually kick the thing. So funny to watch the nuber of kids who had basically NFI how to kick it.

It is fair to expect the Sydney members to get more; what is the price difference between Melbourne and Sydney memberships?
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

                              A Lot.

But then you get access to 11(?) games, we only get access to 6, so it only makes sense, to be a lot more. Plus the COL, of course!.

Cruiser, are these the friends that are moving seats too? We still haven't got ours yet and we've been moved from the Churchill to Brewongle - maybe that has something to do with being last? Distribution generally seems pretty random though.
