    Age match report from Narrandera

Although it seems clear now that Hallkneegate was a beat-up, the report does mention injuries to Bevan (hamstring) and Schmidt (wrist).

Yikes with Bevan added to the injury list with Crouch and Schneider, could Kieran Jack get a debut in round 1?

I think he may have been in with a shot even with Bevan available, but certainly looking even more of a chance now.

We need to find a Swans friendly fan who made the trip to Narrandera who can report back on how the fringe players went. Or we'll just have to wait a week for the trek out to Telstra.

Crowd: 10,500 - better than a Kangaroos regular season game!

In a town of 6500 that is fantastic. So many were going that they even closed the pubs.

No. He is on the rookie list and unless there is a long term injury to a player. No chance.

We've had the RWO in-house attorneys look at this situation and apparently he can come in. Mod edit(Frog): Please play the ball, not the man.

That's interesting, the Mod who edits has identified themselves.

If that is going to become the norm than good on you. Well done.

In legalspeak, "I could explain it to you but it would be over your head" is code for "I don't really understand it either but people much cleverer than you and I have looked at this and I recommend you accepting their word."

I think Jack can play if he is the nominated rookie as our veterans are outside?inside the list. I just have never been able to understand that bit. My mind glazes over like it does with maths stuff whenever someone tries to explain the veteran inside/outside/over/under bit.

The first part is where you put the veteran in, the veteran out, and the rookie in. You're doing that bit perfectly. Where you're losing it, is that you're forgetting to shake it all about.

ihamilto went to the game on Friday night - The crowd was excelllent considering that the population is only6500 but near on 11,000 turned up. about 75% Swans supporters.

He said that Hall played well, Goodes was in a class of his own, Davis was good and looks the fittest he's ever seen him but Vogels really did shine - should be in seniors alot more this year.
Ian is back from hols I think on Thursday so I will ask him to do a report.(if he has time) He said there were no injuries, but some quite feral Collingwood supporters and the odd argumentative Swans supporter, but you get that anywhere I suppose.!!
I used to be indecisive, but now I'm not so sure..................
