Don't give me rolling eyes..is there an agreement between the AFL and AFL Canada? I am ignorant on this subject.
For all i know it could be some expat league. And if it was..why didn't the afl provide them with a style guide and proper logos? As it stand the one they used is crap and breaches the style guides.Comment

The logo is the same style as the ACT AFL logo. In fact, it looks a lot like the AFL ACT page.
Completely unrelatedly, they're lucky that they don't have Telstra doing their web pages.Comment

The first post was something of a joke. I said they are AFL Canada, meaning, as you implied, they are no doubt a two bit operation on a small budget putting together cheap looking websites with ill-designed logos, layouts etc. It was sort of sarcastic you know (perhaps not, nevermind). Note also the above reference to Nog (my screen is very dark, I cannot tell if it is him or not) - I was suggesting something similar, that they are ripping off the Swans/AFL etc. The second post was a bit of a go at you becuase rather than giving something the benefit of the doubt you flew straight in and had a dig. Not that I care. The reference to AFL ACT was a stir, and also a comment on the dodgey site that they run.
To answer you question, how the @@@@ would I know if they have an agreement with the AFL and why the @@@@ would I care? And for your information, if they don't have an agreement and they have used the logos and images without permission they will have breached trade mark laws rather than copyright. As the site owners are likely outside of Australia, the AFL would have bugger all chance of bringing a succesful action anyway, unless they have registered their trade marks there. Given the size of the football market in Canada I expect that they have not, and even if they have the cost of flying a lawyer to Canada would probably exceed the damages they would be entitled to, as I think it would be difficult to show any material loss. So, your original post was pretty stupid (or obviously designed to bait others). What is it then, are you a troll or just a dumb-arse?Comment
