I am not sure that no one has said that it is not his fault. I think some have suggested that sympathy, for him and his family may be a gracious reaction to the situation. Just as some would extend sympathy to any that have made mistakes and to, varying degrees, had to face the consequences of them. That you do not share that point of view is, quite simply, your loss.

Hardly Jealous just pointing out that he is a high paid player and its his own fault. No one else and I don't think that swans supporters should be the first ones to offer condolences. Its sickening to think so.

No he didn't run any old ladies down, but there was something - I think maybe to do with a shooting and knifeing at a nightclub in Perth.

Wow, you leave for a few hours and so much happens.

So, apparently Cousins has split with his girlfriend, Chick and Embley had an 'altercation' which was directly linked to Cousins and Chick didn't turn up to training on Monday either?

                Funny stuff.

He is someone's son, someone's boyfriend, plenty of people's friend, and obviously struggling to keep his life in some sort of order.

The club seems to be in a mess and I cannot see how that is a good thing either. It does nothing for the rivarly between the club's that has been building the last few years, and does nothing at all for the code generally.

That so many here have gloated over this, and seem to take pleasure from a very sad turn of events, reflects badly on us all as fans, and as people, and I think reflects badly on us a club.

I do not want to condone anything that he may or may not have done, or apologise for, or make excuses for Cousins. I just don't get any pleasure at all from the fact that this has happened.
Where is the real ROK Lobster, and what have you done with him? Seriously, well said, dude.

A very very foolish step to take on such flimsy evidence. There is often no interrelationship between off-field issues and performance; or even an inverse one (the worse the issues in a player's life, the better they play). I think Chad Fletcher racked up 39 possessions in the first practice match after the Vegas story really exploded.

At the start of 2006 when the whole Michael Gardiner thing started to go pear-shaped, I thought that it would put the Weagles off their stride, and that in such an even competition, could seriously affect their ability to win the flag. Truth be told, it didn't trouble them too much at all; if anything, they really started to play some good footy after he was given his marching orders for good. Round 1 is still a 50/50; let alone the rest of the season.

Man, with 6 replies on the one page, isn't it time you read a book and had a good lie down? If people want to express the opinion that it's sad that a guy has got
