Jolly good time - Not for Everitt!

    Herald Sun article in Melbourne.

Interesting article, and especially in relation to Everitt's talk with Jolly in relation to last years Grand Final.

I guess that one has been spoiled with success whereas Everitt has not had much success (Premierships/Finals) in his career.

I wouldn't say that Jolly has had much success. He has played in 1 losing GF.

As I said to Darren Jolly after he said he'd miss the Grand Final for the birth of his baby, I wouldn't even miss a win, let alone a final. I've won hardly any games.

          Sorry I stand corrected.

Make note to self, don't post when you are almost out the door on the way back to work.

Even if it had only been one losing grand final, that would be one more than 90% of the swans players over the last 100 years, including Skilton!
You dont get to play in a Grand Final from a voucher on a Corn Flakes pack!

The point which seems to be getting clouded in the fine print is that Everitt seems committed to success over and above anything - Something that he should be commended for (from a fans point of view) - But something the wife may not be too pleased with.

Maybe he can work out how long 9 months from football season - and particularly the Finals - is.
